Vertical Bike Locker
This product the vertical bike locker, is a simple solution for maximising space for storing bikes. It enables you to save up to 45% of floor space compared with horizontal cycle storage.
By housing your bike in the locker it offers protection from the weather and against thieves and vandals.
Each locker is fitted with a patented mounting hoop that simply uses gravity to hold the bike upright. The technique for securing bikes in the vertical bike locker is quick and easy to master, as follows:
- On approach, ensure the wheel-mounting hoop is at the top of the runner
- Apply bike's rear brake and pull handle bars backwards until bike is vertical
- Release rear brake and wheel bike forwards on its back wheel
- When the bike meets the back of the locker, slide the wheel hoop down over the front wheel
- Secure the bike locker with the padlock provided
- Constructed from heavy duty galvanised steel
- Manufactured to the Quality Cycle Locker Standards devised by the Bike Parking and Security Association (BPSA) to meet planning application requirements

In addition to the bike, vertical bike lockers also provide ample room to store a cycle helmet, clothing and luggage as well, if required.
For maximum use of available floor space, where this may be at a premium, lockers can be lined up against a wall or positioned nose to tail.
